As a mother of two children, Tasha understands the importance of youth training and keeping our kids active and healthy. According to the American Diabetes Association, the number of youths with diabetes is projected to rise substantially by 2050. Diabetes and other health alignments can shorten our youth’s quality of life and life expectancy rate. By starting a fitness regiment early in childhood, our kids will be better equipped to handle many health risks.
Tasha designs workout programs that are individually tailored to your child’s growing body. She also follows guidelines that are outlined by the American Academy of Pediatrics when designing youth fitness programs. The AAP recommends that kids and tens should get at least 60 minutes of some form of exercise. Unfortunately due to increased technology (i.e.: screens), a lot of kids don’t receive the recommended daily exercise. Tasha has worked with numerous kids over the years helping them understand the importance of physical fitness and providing a healthy fitness foundation. She understands that training the youth population takes more than having extensive knowledge in the field. It also takes creativity and lots of patience. Keeping kids focused and motivated while exercising can be quite challenging. Therefore, it is important to add variety to the workouts while designing exercises that are fun and age-appropriate. Tasha’s youth training cuts down on childhood obesity, increase strength, enhance sport performance, and improve overall self-esteem.
